12 - 16 December 2005
The 8th Middle East International Motor Show is the largest and the most important automotive event in the Middle East.
The region has the highest cars-per-household ratios in the world.
The show is held biennially. This year, it was covering over 45 000 square meters with 11 halls. Only the 8th hall was "hiding" due to his location.
NISSAN brings the Taiko Drummers to entertain audiences at the show. They are gold medallists at the 2005 Tokyo International Contest. For the whole week of the event they were performing on NISSAN' s stand along with Canadian-born magician Arain Black, female magician 2004, and two champion US aerialists, Vitali Buza and Devon Gery. During this exhibition, NISSAN present the new PATHFINDER 2006 (more details on www.pathfibder-me.com). It will be launch in the region in April.
AUDI is expecting its brand new Q7 to be a big hit in the Middle East Market with his 4.2 litre engine, 350 hp with permanent all-wheel drive.

As usual for the region a lot of designers, tuners and modifiers with extravagant & very powerful SUVs.
No real new 4x4 or SUV was presented. Only some prototype like the GRAPHYTE and the T2X were shown.
