DESERT CHALLENGE 2007

October 28th - November 2nd

DAY 1 & 2 - Umm Suqueim - Dubai

Today Monday 29^th @ Abu Dhabi, Les Gaulois managed to take the start after a stressful electrical problem. They raced 4 h 43 mn and finished the 1^st stage after 2 tire punctures.  

They were on the 30^th position this morning and finished the race just after 6 pm on position 26.

Today Tuesday 30^th, Les Gaulois faced the motor sport truth with a fuel line and pomp failure after 76 km which forced them to let the day go. Thanks to the support of David Mapps and Ramzi, they came out of the desert to be recovered by road to the bivouac. The mechanics are currently working on the car which should be up and running tomorrow morning for the 267 km of big dunes. Starting the day in position 27, they are tonight 30^th overall.
