Arrival
The rally was located in Umm Al Quwain Emirate on the 17th and 18th March 2004, with a 2 Kms special stage in Umm Al Quwain Corniche on Wednesday evening.

With 38 entrants, "Les Gaulois" target was clearly defined: Test, Enjoy and Finish!

With no experience for David as a rally driver, the entry went above all expectations, as they finished 19th overall out of 25 cars.

Key points of the race:

Prologue: High on tyre pressure,"Les Gaulois" finished 33rd but David managed to overcome his stress as driving a rally car for his 1st time in competition.

Just before stage one on the next day, surprise: the right brake pipe was leaking; so they went thru the 1st leg with limited brakes, reminding that their main target was to cross the FINISH LINE.

Reaching the Service Area after leg one, MGM Motorsports crew did a fantastic job and fixed the brake problem.
